Filing for probate is complex and can be expensive. In Minnesota, cases that are not contested can often file for non-supervised informal probate, meaning that the case does not have to go before a judge.  Below is a straightforward flat fee for these simple probate cases. If the estate at issue is valued at less than $75,000, a small estate affidavit is sufficient to have the estate funds transferred. If your case is more complex, we can work out a different flat fee or a hourly rate.

Simple Probate - $1200.00 (includes appointment of a personal representative and closing the estate)

Small Estate Affidavit - $250.00
